Rosabacara is a brand rooted in sacred healing, offering psychotherapy and integration coaching to individuals working with plant medicine. The client, Ashley, was launching her solo practice and needed a visual identity that embodied emotional depth, transformation, and grounded connection. The goal: create a logo system that was emotionally powerful, deeply symbolic, professionally versatile, and technically sound across digital and print formats.
A brand discovery session helped define the personality as: Sacred · Empowering · Grounded · Transformative. Key visual symbols (rose, smoke, heart) were clarified, with tone and accessibility considered for visual harmony across all usage cases.

Design Process - Visual Research
The design process for Rosabacara involved multiple stages of development, from initial concept sketches to final refinement and colour system creation. Each step was carefully executed to ensure the final logo embodied the brand's essence.
Using Procreate, hand-sketched variations explored integrating the rose (heart-opening flower), smoke (spiritual movement), and heart (emotional connection).
The sketching phase allowed for organic exploration of how these symbolic elements could interact and form a cohesive visual identity. Multiple iterations were created to find the perfect balance between the key symbols.

Digital Refinement
Hand-drawn concepts were translated into clean, scalable vector artwork to ensure clarity at any size.
I developed a flexible icon system with logo variations that maintain visual harmony across formats, from small-scale applications to full-size displays.

An earthy palette inspired by rose petals, tobacco, and soil was refined for emotional tone and accessibility. Six variations and their inverses were included.
The serif typeface was chosen to reflect stability, warmth, and grounded presence, perfectly aligning with the organic nature of the logomark.
Typography plays a crucial role in communicating the brand's personality. The selected serif font brings a timeless quality while maintaining readability across all applications.

Every element in this logo has meaning. This project beautifully blended intuition, storytelling, and technical craft — a visual embodiment of sacred transformation.
